Black Friday News: Black Friday sale puts Microsoft’s Xbox 360 under $100, but the 4GB model is going fast on Amazon at this very moment.

Xbox 360 4GB console

Xbox 360 ownership just got a little cheaper, at least for the next hour, as Amazon has reduced the price of its last-generation console to just $99 for Black Friday.

The Xbox 360 4GB model is barebones, containing 1 black wireless controller, built-in WiFi and one free month of Xbox Live Gold. This particular console isn’t bundled with games like the still-on-sale Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle for $189 and it isn’t the newly released Xbox One.

Normally, everyday besides Black Friday, the console retails for $179.99 on Amazon and the original list price is $199.99.

The advantages to the Xbox 4GB hard drive console

But that’s okay. First off, unlike the Xbox One, the Xbox 360 has a vast library of video games available for it - not a mere 22 titles. Second, without the games bundled in, the 4GB model is cheaper and you can probably buy the used versions of those games for very little money. Plus, the standalone Xbox 360 4GB hard drive console enables you to pick the games you want to buy.

If this deal runs out of $99 Xbox 360 4GB consoles, Amazon institutes a wait list, so be sure to look for that option if you’re out of luck buying it right now.

Check back with Gaming Target for more Black Friday deals throughout the day.
