News: The beta registration for Titanfall was supposed to start at 6pm pacific, however, it has opened up early.

Titanfall

Titanfall is going to be released in exactly one month but the beta is rumored to start later this week. A little earlier today Respawn said that registration for the Titanfall beta will begin at 6pm pacific, however, it appears to have opened early. When I went to the Titanfall website I saw a “Beta” tab on the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see that tab then you should be able to access the registration by going to www.titanfall.com/beta. If it doesn’t work then simply try again. I had to type in that address twice before it took me to the registration hub. As you can see by the above picture it is working and I have already registered for Titanfall’s beta. Sadly this is a closed beta which means that you have to register to participate in the beta, however, sadly not everyone that registers will be granted access. This is following on the heels of the Titanfall alpha test that was run approximately a month ago.

Set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied – featuring parkour-style wall running, massive double jumps and the ability to hijack titans. The freedom to shift back and forth between pilot and titan allows players to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation and extending the action vertically to new heights.

“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall,” said Vince Zampella, a Co-Creator of Call of Duty and Co-Founder of Respawn Entertainment. “The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype.”

Titanfall is heading to Xbox One and PC on March with the Xbox 360 following up on March 25. Will you be trying to get into the beta? Tell us what you think below.
