News: WWE and 2K Sports have just revealed who will grace the cover of WWE 2K15 when it becomes available on October 28 on current and last gen consoles.
WWE 2K15 is coming out later this year and is the second game coming out of 2K Sports after they acquired the license from THQ. Around this time every year they do a big cover reveal during WWE’s flagship show, Raw is War, and this year is no different. During tonight’s episode of Raw it was revealed that John Cena will be the cover athlete for WWE 2K15. The picture below is the box art for the PS4 version, however, it will also be on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3.
One important thing to note in regards to the game itself is that 2K seems to be trying to bring over some of the same qualities that makes its NBA 2K franchise so popular. One of the current rumors going around is that 2K Sports is using the same facial rendering that made NBA 2K14 look amazing last year. NBA 2K14 was thought to be one of the best looking games at launch for the new consoles last year and, hopefully, that transitions over to WWE 2K15 as well. If we can get all of the WWE Superstars and Divas rendered as well as the NBA players then the WWE Universe could be in for a real treat.

Unfortunately that is all we really know at this point. Not much as has been revealed about the gameplay, the different modes that will be available and what the “hook” will be for this year’s version. Previous years have seen installments that focused on the Attitude Era, WrestleMania or other such monumental time periods/events in WWE.
What would you like to see be included in WWE 2K15? Judging by the artwork that we saw at E3, the game will feature John Cena, Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and more. Which WWE Superstar do you hope makes the cut? What mode do you want to see return? What do you think of the box art below? Let us know in the comments below.
