Battlefield Hardline is now available to download and play for EA Access members. Originally slated to be released for EA Access members tomorrow, it appears either EA or Microsoft (or both) have flipped the switch early, probably to try and reduce server load as everyone tries to download Battlefield Hardline at once.
EA Access members will be able to jump into Battlefield Hardline for a full 10 hours to try and see whether they want to buy it or not when it releases on Tuesday. You will have access to both the single player and the multiplayer, however, you will only have access to the prologue and chapter one of the campaign. It is a smart move on EA’s part so that people don’t finish the campaign during this trial period.
This is the final product and what you will be buying on Tuesday. It is not a demo and all your progress in both the single player as well as the multiplayer will carry over when Battlefield Hardline launches on March 17. Additionally, you can earn achievements during this early access period and that progress should carry over as well. If you decide you enjoy Battlefield Hardline and want to buy it, EA Access members can buy the digital version off of Xbox Live for 10% off the normal price.
Are you going to download Battlefield Hardline to try and take advantage of this early access? Will you play any of the story or just stick to multiplayer? Tell us what you think below.
