News: Some new details have been revealed about a season pass that seems like it might be pretty pricey, at least at first glance.
Batman Arkham Knight is coming out in just under two months. With that being the case Warner Bros and Rocksteady have revealed some details about the upcoming season pass that will be available for Batman Arkham Knight. In addition to that it was also revealed that there will be a premium edition for Batman Arkham Knight. Both the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass and Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition are now available for preorder from participating retailers. The Season Pass is priced at $39.99 and the Premium Edition, which includes both the Season Pass and the main game, is priced at $99.99. There was no indication on whether the season pass would be included with the Batmobile Edition but we have reached out to Warner Bros and will report back if we get a response.
The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks. The Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition includes the main game and the Season Pass.
Unfortunately that is all we really know about the season pass at this time. The $39.99 price tag does seem a bit high at the moment, however, once we learn what that actually gets us it might turn out to be a great investment. Unfortunately this is one of those situations where only time will tell.
