News: A wave of cancellation emails was sent out earlier today to customers from Amazon but they say everyone’s order is safe and not cancelled.

”Mighty

Mighty No. 9 is coming out in a little over two months but earlier today Amazon sent out cancellation emails to just about everyone who had pre-ordered the Signature edition. This obviously upset quite a few people (myself included) who had pre-ordered this and we were left to wonder what happened. It is a strange occurrence as I have never had anything like this happen before in all my years of using Amazon. There might be some hope left though as the Amazon Video Games Twitter (@amazongames) issued the following tweet:

“Customers that pre-ordered Mighty No. 9 Signature Edition will receive an email from us soon. Your game IS still reserved.”

Amazon further reiterated this as they were addressing questions from concerned customers by answering this question:

“@Aiervon It’s true. Still working on it, but we’re still getting the same number of Signature Editions, so everyone’s order is safe.”

”Mighty

So apparently someone screwed up somewhere but all of our pre-orders are safe. If you happened to receive a cancellation email this morning then just ignore it and wait for another email that Amazon has said is coming to make things right.

Mighty No. 9 is set to be released on September 15 with the normal standard version and the Signature Edition. The standard edition costs $29.99 and comes with the game like any other normal edition. The Signature Edition however costs $59.99 and comes with the game as well as a figurine of Beck. If you are lucky enough to get a Signature Edition you will receive a individually numbered 6.5” figurine of Beck with three interchangeable faceplates and 14 points of articulation, foil signature of legendary game creator Keiji Inafune on packaging and the Launch Edition of Mighty No. 9 with whatever pre-order bonuses your store is offering.

Will you be picking up Mighty No. 9 when it is in September? Which version will you get? Did you pre-order the Signature Edition. Tell us what you think below.
