News: Gamestop is holding a special promotion where you can get a New Nintendo 3DS XL for half the price but the promotion ends November 10.
Gamestop is currently holding a pretty great promotion if you have been waiting to upgrade to the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The New Nintendo 3DS XL costs $199 but if you take in your old 3DS system or a PS Vita and trade it towards the New Nintendo 3DS XL then they will give you $100 in credit. This essentially makes the New Nintendo 3DS XL only $100 which is a fantastic bargain and likely better than anything you will find on Black Friday in regards to Nintendo’s handheld.
It should also be said that you can trade in any 3DS to get this deal. I went into Gamestop yesterday and traded in my original 3DS that I got when the handheld launched and walked away with the Hyrule Gold Edition for the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The requirements for trading in your 3DS and/or your PlayStation Vita are pretty simple.
To trade in your 3DS you need the following items:
Nintendo 3DS system with serial number (I had a third party battery for my 3DS so I had to take that off and put on the original backing with the serial number before trading it in)
Nintendo 3DS power adapter
Stylus
To trade in your PlayStation Vita you need the following items:
PlayStation Vita system with serial number
PlayStation Vita power adapter
This promotion is for a very limited time as it ends tomorrow on November 10. If you want to take advantage of it then you need to do so quickly. It is a great way to get the New Nintendo 3DS XL for 50% off.
