News: If you have been wondering about the Division you have your opportunity this weekend to try it out during the beta on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The beta for the Division is now underway on Xbox One and will begin tomorrow for PS4 and PC. Xbox One gamers get an exclusive 24 hour head start on Ubisoft’s latest Tom Clancy title. The Division takes place in New York 3 weeks after a lethal virus, released on Black Friday, swept through the city. One by one, basic services have failed. Society has collapsed into chaos. The President invokes Presidential Directive 51, and The Division, a top-secret unit of self-supporting tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, Division agents are trained to operate independently of command in this type of emergency situation. When the lights go out, their mission begins.

There are a number of ways to secure a beta code for The Division but the easiest is simply pre-ordering the game. You can go pre-order a copy on your preferred platform on Amazon and then they should email you a code soon thereafter. Once you receive and redeem the code you can then cancel your pre-order on Amazon if you so choose since they don’t charge you until the game ships. So far the Division is looking pretty nice and you might want to keep that pre-order active though.

You can play the beta for The Division right now on Xbox One. You can begin playing it on PS4 and PC beginning at 4am Pacific time tomorrow, which is 7am Eastern time and noon GMT. Keep in mind that this is a beta and there might be some server difficulties. The beta is set to run through the weekend but Ubisoft hasn’t revealed the exact time it will end so be sure to play as much of it as you want before Sunday as it could end at any point during that day.

Will you be participating in this beta for The Division? Are you looking forward to the full retail release? Tell us what you think below.
