Rainbow Moon is arriving on the PS4 on February 16 in the Americas and on February 17 in Europe. Rainbow Moon has been downloaded over one million times worldwide on PS3 and PS Vita and with how well the PS4 is doing one has to assume that number will grow by quite a bit. The PS4 version will feature updated dialog, improved load times and cross save capability across the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
When Rainbow Moon launches on PS4 later this month it will be available for US$14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99. If you happen to own the PS3 and/or the PS Vita version then the game will be available at a special 50% discount in selected territories. There was no mention about how long this deal will last so if you are interested then I would take advantage of this opportunity as soon as you can.
If you aren’t familiar with Rainbow Moon it is an RPG with a strong emphasis on exploration across a beautiful, isometric, open world with deep character development and tactical turn-based battles. There are six playable main characters with upgradeable weapons, armor and accessories. There are over 100 special skills and more than 20 challenging dungeons in the game. The developer has stated that it should take you over 40 hours to go through the complete game. If you wish to complete all optional content in the game then you will be much closer to 100 hours that you will have to spend playing this game.
Rainbow Moon will feature over 50 trophies, including a platinum. You will be able to exchanged saved data between the different versions. The PS4 version is also bringing Rainbow Moon up to 60 frames per second with almost no load times. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us what you think about Rainbow Moon. Will you be downloading it on PS4 once it becomes available later this month?
