Fallout 4 Season Pass Price Goes From $29.99 to $49.99 Beginning March 1

News: Today is the last day for you to buy the Fallout 4 season pass at a reduced price before it goes up $20 tomorrow.

Bethesda revealed a little while ago that the season pass for Fallout 4 would be going up in price. Today is the last day for you to purchase it for $29.99 before it goes up to the new price of $49.99 on March 1. If you have already purchased the season pass then you are fine and don’t need to do anything. You will receive all of the season pass content that Bethesda releases at that reduced price. Beginning tomorrow though you will need to pay $49.99 for that same stuff.

Bethesda has explained the reason for this price increase is due to how plans have changed with Fallout 4 DLC. Essentially what that means is that Bethesda is now planning on giving us more DLC than they originally planned due to the massive success of Fallout 4 and the price needs to be adjusted accordingly. The first series of add ons has been revealed to be “Automatron,” “Wasteland Workshop” and “Far Harbor.” The “Far Harbor” DLC is the really big one in this group. There is a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency that leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. This “Far Harbor” DLC features the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda has ever created and will be filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. There will also be new, higher level weapons and armor.

The Automatron DLC brings a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth where you will have to hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. With the Wasteland Workshop DLC you will be able to design and set cages to capture live creatures from raiders to deathclaws. You can choose to tame them or have them face off in battle, even against fellow settlers.
