When backwards compatibility for Xbox One was launched Microsoft said they would add games to the list on a regular basis. That used to be a monthly basis at first until recently Microsoft said they will just release games as they become available instead of saving them up for one big monthly release. Over the course of the past week more games have been added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program bringing some classic Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One.
The new Xbox 360 games that have been added to the backwards compatibility list include:
Alan Wake
Assassin’s Creed
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Dark Void
Grid 2
Pac-Man
Assassin’s Creed joins Assassin’s Creed II on the backwards compatibility list and one has to figure that eventually the whole Assassin’s Creed catalog will be available on the Xbox One. The games that are the most requested to appear still aren’t backwards compatible yet but one has to assume that Microsoft is working hard to make it happen. It was only a few weeks ago that Red Dead Redemption was leaked on to the store and people were able to play it on their Xbox One consoles so clearly that title is coming at some point. Rockstar is rumored to reveal the next Red Dead game at E3 so it would make sense that Red Dead Redemption would arrive on the backwards compatibility list at that time, if the rumors about Rockstar are indeed true.
