News: Two more games have joined the party with over 140 Xbox 360 games being available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

”Xbox

Microsoft is on a roll right now with two more games being added to the backwards compatibility list. We just wrote an article yesterday about six games being added over the course of the last week and now we have two more to talk about. The first Dark Souls is now available via backwards compatibility as is Tekken Tag Tournament 2. If you own the digital version of each game it should be showing in your ‘Ready to Install’ list on Xbox One. If you own the physical version of each game then simply pop in your disc to your Xbox One and it will download and install the game for you. In case you aren’t familiar with either title, the premise for each is below:

Dark Souls

”Developed by FromSoftware, the seamlessly intertwined world of Dark Souls is full of extreme battles, rewarding challenges, nuanced weaponry and magic, and the flexibility to customize each character to suit any desired play style. The innovative online component allows gamers to draw from the collective experience of the Dark Souls community as they either help or sabotage each other on the journey through the Northern Realms to save the land from darkness. With a massive, seamless open world design, Dark Souls encourages deep exploration and an adaptable gameplay experience.”

Tekken Tag Tournament 2

”The development team is continually seeking ways to improve the series and is introducing several ground-breaking new features in TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2. One of these features is Fight Lab, which allows new and experienced players to learn basic and advanced TEKKEN mechanics through a series of stages while being able to customize their own Combot character by purchasing moves from other characters to mix and match into a deadly combat machine. TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2also introduces Pair Play, which gives players the ability to play four-player TEKKENmatches with each player controlling a tag combatant. TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 also gives players the option of fighting in one-on-one matches and solo fighter vs. a tag-team battle. These new modes provide additional gameplay options for seasoned TEKKEN fans while providing an easier point of access to new players.”

Do you own either of these games? If not, will you buy them to play on your Xbox One? Tell us what you think below.
