The Call of Duty World League is wrapping up Stage 1 of the inaugural Pro Division competition where top eSports teams from around the globe are vying for the initial share of the more than $3 million in prizes up for grabs in 2016. The best of the best from North America are facing off April 1 in Burbank, CA for the first-ever CWL Pro Division Stage 1 Finals.
Friday, April 1, will feature the relegation portion of the event, where the lower four teams from the Pro Division will face off against the top four teams from the Challenge Division, the amateur portion of the CWL. Each team will play in a single series and it is winner take all to secure a spot in Stage 2 of the Pro Division and a chance at the culmination of the CWL, The Call of Duty Championship, Presented by PlayStation®4, this fall.
Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, will feature the top eight Call of Duty teams determined by an 11 week season, as they battle it out for their share of this weekend's Stage 1 the initial payout of the more than $3 million prize pool and to be crowned as Stage 1 champions.
Tune in to the Call of Duty live stream or via the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Live Event Viewer to watch the action from your PS4 directly in the game to discover which top Call of Duty eSports teams will secure their place as the top dog in the inaugural season of the Call of Duty World League Presented by PlayStation 4.
