News: A new community bounty is taking place this weekend where you need to kill Volatiles, some of the game’s most fearsome enemies.

Techland has revealed that there is going to be a second community bounty for Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition. It is set to take place this weekend where players will team up to try and collectively kill 2,500,000 Volatiles, the game’s most fearsome enemies that only appear at night. If the community reaches this goal within the time limit the award will be an exclusive outfit for Kyle Crane in the game. All participants will also get a special weapon docket just for taking part in the event.

“We wanted to give players more opportunities to kill Volatiles,” explains Tymon Smektala, Producer. “We’re making the night in the game twice as long during the event, so it’s easier to reach the goal. It might be harder to survive, though!”

You can track the cumulative live at dyinglightgame.com/bounties. The website currently features a countdown to the beginning of the event and a live community score counter. Only participating players will be eligible for the rewards. The event runs from 12pm (Pacific time) on May 13 until 10pm (Pacific time) on May 15. Everyone can take part whether you are playing on Xbox One, PS4 or PC. In the first community bounty participants tripled the goal by smashing 18,166,973 zombies with their in-game buggies.

Check out the ‘Sun Eclipse’ community bounty trailer below and tell us what you think. Are you going to be participating this weekend?
