News: Pokemon Go is one of the most popular games being played right now but which Pokemon character is the most popular in each state?

”Pokemon

Pokemon Go has been out for a week now and it has taken the world by storm. People everywhere are playing it and trying to catch them all. In my own personal experiences I have seen people walking around a local Walmart trying to catch an elusive Pokemon as well as groups of people walking towards a local gas station that serves as a Poke gym. There are millions and millions of people who are playing the game and over the course of the week Nintendo’s stock has skyrocketed and they have already made over a billion dollars from it. Pokemon Go is the biggest mobile game in US history, with just under 21 million daily users at its peak.

With all of that being said, which Pokemon is being searched for the most in each state? Some of the results might surprise you:

  • Pikachu - Arizona, Hawaii, Delaware, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Kansas

  • Mew - Idaho, Nebraska

  • Abra - New Hampshire, Georgia

  • Mewtwo - Florida

  • Pinsir - Kentucky

  • Gengar - Michigan

  • Articuno - New Jersey

  • Dratini - Ohio

  • Aerodactyl - Pennsylvania

  • Charmander - Utah

  • Growlithe - West Virginia
