News: Destiny fans can enjoy the new Private Match feature right now just in the nick of time of Rise of Iron’s release next week.



”Destiny:

Activision has revealed that ‘Private Match’ is now available in Destiny on Xbox One and PS4 ahead of the release of the upcoming expansion, Rise of Iron. The Private Match feature gives Destiny players the keys to the Crucible with the ability to challenge friends and foes alike in 18 competitive modes on almost 30 maps.

Destiny: Rise of Iron will launch next week on September 20 and will feature a new cinematic story campaign, a new six-player raid and some powerful new gear. The new campaign is set within The Plaguelands, a brand new location on Earth. Under the command of Lord Saladin you will face a new faction of Fallen Devils, the Splicers, while unravelling the mystery of the Iron Lords. Rise of Iron features new weapons, armor and gear, as well as a new cooperative three-player Strike, a new mode and maps for the Crucible multiplayer as well as a new six player cooperative Raid.

Some of the features for this new expansion include the following:

  • New Story Campaign & Quests

  • New Armor and Gear

  • New Weapons

  • New Raid

  • Maximum Light Increase

  • New Strike

  • New Plaguelands Zone & Social Space

  • New Crucible Mode & Maps

  • New Enemy Faction and Bosses
