Destiny: The Dawning Revealed This Weekend by Bungie and Activision

News: There is some new holiday content coming to Destiny beginning on December 13 and running for a few weeks.

Bungie has revealed a three week winter event that is going to be taking place in Destiny to celebrate the holiday season. It will be called “The Dawning” and will feature a plethora of content that isn’t normally found in the main game.

The Dawning will feature all new Quests and Bounties to complete, a new Record Book filled with challenges to conquer, the return of Sparrow Racing League with two new tracks, one set on Earth and one set on Mercury, and a brand new game mode called Strike Scoring.

The Dawning content are a part of a part of Destiny: Rise of Iron. If you don’t have that content and would like to participate in these holiday events then you will need to pick that up. Additionally, players will be able to further customize their Guardians with new gear, Sparrows, Ornaments, consumables, Shaders, Emblems, Emotes and more.
