Nintendo’s Weekly eShop Update Brings 15 New Games This Week to the Switch

News: A plethora of new titles is available on Nintendo’s popular platform, including one starring everyone’s favorite plumber.

Nintendo’s weekly update is here and it is bringing 15 more games to the Switch over the course of the next few days. Of course the big one is Super Mario Odyssey but that shouldn’t stop you from checking out some of these other ones. Each game is available now in the Switch eShop unless otherwise noted.

Super Mario Odyssey - Available October 27

Join Mario on a massive, globe-trotting 3D adventure, and use his incredible new abilities to collect Power Moons and rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans. This sandbox-style 3D Mario adventure – the first since 2002’s Nintendo GameCube classic Super Mario Sunshine – is packed with secrets and surprises. With Mario’s new moves like cap throw, cap jump and capture, you’ll have fun and exciting game-play experiences unlike anything you’ve enjoyed in a Mario game before. Get ready to be whisked away to strange and amazing places far from the Mushroom Kingdom!

Violett

Dragged by her parents, a young and rebellious teenage girl – Violett, moves to an old spooky house in the middle of nowhere. Forced away from her friends and life in the city; she imagines how boring life in countryside will be: spending day after day, bored in her room with absolutely nothing to do. But what she cannot imagine, is that in just few moments, she'll have the adventure of her life.

Zombie Gold Rush

Zombie Gold Rush is a shooting game where you get on various cars and earn you gold by destroying zombies one after another.

Poi: Explorer Edition

Embark on a classic 3D platforming adventure as you set sail on an airship to collect Explorer Medallions and unravel the mysteries of the Milky Way Globe. Explore uncharted lands, and meet wild new characters, while on a journey to collect all the medallions and become a true Master Explorer.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon

When three friends, deceived and separated by the tricks of darkness, find each other again, their bond shall become the light that will clear away the shadows and guide them towards the truth. Beautiful women, Servans, battles and growth system - all these elements return in an evolved form in the second instalment of the gothic fairy tale action RPG series "Nights of Azure".

ACA NEOGEO Mutation Nation

"Mutation Nation" is an action game released by SNK in 1992. Humans turned into mutants by the hands of a genius biologist have gone on a rampage. To save their hometown, two youths rise up to resist. Battle with courage using full action combos along with 6 special moves.

Moon Hunters

Create your own legend in a 1 to 4 player co-operative personality test! Explore a mystical Mesopotamian-inspired world that's different every time you play. When the moon does not rise over Issaria, monsters to infest the land and cause chaos. You must set out alone or with the other chosen children of the Moon to solve the mystery and restore balance. You have only 5 days before King Mardokh and the Sun Cultists declare war. The Nintendo Switch console version includes the Eternal Echoes DLC, as well as three exclusive new companions to find in the world.

Time Recoil

Time Recoil is a top-down shooter where you kill to slow time, experience amazing slow motion gunfights, and trigger spectacular special moves. Your mission is to save the world from Mr. Time, a time manipulating mad scientist turned evil dictator. Shoot, dodge, and dash through his evil empire guns blazing and unleash your super powers.

Splasher

Splasher is a 2D platformer with unique arcade-style action gameplay, set in a crazy cartoon universe. Stand up to Le Docteur – the paint factory's evil boss – and save the Splashers. Your prodigious paint cannon grants you colorful superpowers. Put your skills to the test and face whatever the factory throws your way.

Piczle Lines DX - Demo

Draw lines to connect pairs of numbers to complete a hidden picture in this feverishly addictive Picture puzzle game. Connect numbers of the same color, using the same number of blocks as the number. Easy controls lets you draw line after line as you gradually reveal the picture.

Play through 100 levels in Story Mode as you follow the adventure of a professor and his mysterious Piczle-Matic camera. Each puzzle solved unlocks the next step in the story. Continue the fun in Puzzle Mode with 200+ more puzzles. Solve picture puzzles of all sorts, including sports, pets, vehicles, food and many more. Select them in any order or have multiple puzzles on the go, resuming any one at any time. Draw directly on the screen in Handheld Mode, or play with the Joy-Con in Table Mode or TV Mode.

King Oddball - Available October 30

Blow up tanks! Crash helicopters! Squash puny humans! Collapse structures! Hurl boulders until nothing remains! The King swings a boulder back and forth with his tongue and you get to release it by pressing a button. Time the release accurately and crush as many targets as possible with each boulder. Extra boulders are awarded for crushing three or more targets with a single throw. Master the game by anticipating how boulders roll, bounce, and launch from explosions. Take advantage of collapsing structures too. Conquer the world in more than 120 fun and increasingly challenging levels.

Monster Jam Crush It - Available October 31

Crush It takes fans back into authentic real-life stadiums for racing and freestyle events including the site of Monster Jam World Finals – Sam Boyd Stadium. Choose your favorite official Monster Jam trucks such as Grave Digger, Max-D, Monster Mutt and many more. Take your favorite Monster Truck out of the stadium and into all new environment challenges. Exciting physic based challenges include skills, hill jump and stunt modes. All-new tracks that will test your skills to master speed and balance over insane jumps and obstacles or face ultimate destruction. Compete as a single player, or log into online leaderboards to earn bragging rights as the best Monster Jam truck driver and much, much more.

Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers - Available October 31

When Uncle Grandpa accidentally drives the UG-RV through multiple dimensions, he picks up some surprise passengers in the form of Gumball, Steven Universe, Finn, Mordecai and Clarence. Now they'll have to band together to defeat the evil shard creatures and set things right. Use each character's unique attacks and special moves to conquer the elements, fight your way through all the levels and beat some brutal boss battles. Replay maps with special modifiers to switch up the fun, and unlock bonus rooms along the way. Take on the single-player challenge or grab up to three friends for multiplayer action in this crazy interdimensional adventure.

Monopoly - Available October 31

Experience three unique 3D boards at home or on-the-go with up to six players in total, or take your game online and challenge players in quick matches. Customize your game by selecting from six official House Rules chosen by Monopoly fans around the world. Don't have time for a full game? Speed it up with Special Goals that shorten play sessions, and Actions Cards to move you around the board and penalize your opponents. Build your empire and trade your way to victory.
