No Man’s Sky is coming to Xbox One. Sean Murray from Hello Games just made this announcement, along with talking about the next big update for No Man’s Sky. He also mentioned that No Man’s Sky will be enhanced for Xbox One X with support for HDR, 4K and more.
According to Sean, No Man’s Sky is going to be huge on the Xbox. It will include everything the game has up to this point which means it will have Foundation (base building, freighter ownerships and a survival game mode), Pathfinder (vehicles, online base sharing, permadeath) and Atlas Rises (added 30 hours of story, a new procedural mission system and a visual overhaul).
These new expansions have been released over time to try and fix a really rough launch for No Man’s Sky. Xbox gamers are fortunate in the fact that when No Man’s Sky launches on Xbox One they will be getting a much better project then it was it when it launched originally on PlayStation 4.
This also brings us to the announcement of the next big expansion for No Man’s Sky. This new content is called “Next”. It will be their biggest update to the game yet and it is something they have been working on for a while now. Unfortunately they aren’t giving us any details at this time but it will be available on the Xbox One version (in addition to the other versions). Sean also stated that after the release of “Next” they will continue to support No Man’s Sky on Xbox One with “significant and free content updates”.
