News: This new trailer shows off some of what you can expect from this upcoming game based on Persian culture.

A new trailer has just been released for the upcoming title, The Tale of Bistun. The Tale of Bistun is a love letter to Persian culture. You take control of the mysterious stone carver, with no memory of who he is, and help him traverse blighted lands to discover his identity and the source of a pleading, strangely familiar whisper.

In this new trailer, you can see some of the locations you will be visiting in the game. Besides the passages hidden on the mountain slope, or temple ruins full of dangerous creatures, the developers showed us truly cosmic Revelations Realm. A mystical place that allows us to discover, piece by piece, the story of our hero, and at the same time be a part of epic events in which light will face the darkness.

In the trailer, we can also hear a fragment of the narration performed by the popular voice actor Marc Thompson, known for cartoons such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, or audiobooks from the Star Wars series. His voice will accompany our hero throughout the entire journey, allowing us to delve into the story presented in the game.

The game plot is based on one of the most popular Persian poems, a tragic love story between Sasanian king Khosrow II and the Armenian princess Shirin. In a simplified way, in some aspects, it could be compared to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

The Tale of Bistun has already been presented at such gaming events as Games Com, Dreamhack, Pixel Heaven, or recently The MIX, and soon, you will be able to check the game at Indiefest and Taipei Game Show.

The PC version of the game will be published by IMGN.PRO. It will also arrive on Xbox thanks to the ID@Xbox program. No release date has been announced as of yet. Check out the trailer below though and tell us what you think.
