News: A new update improves on some of the game’s bugs, adds new features, a new mode, and more.

”Crossfire

Smilegate Entertainment has revealed that a new update is now available in Crossfire X. Crossfire X is the free-to-play first-person shooter that is set in the Crossfire universe. This update includes gameplay improvements, bug fixes, events, a new map, and more.

The new map that has been added is called “Valley”. In this multiplayer Team Deathmatch map that is available in both Classic and Modern modes, you can face off in a steep and rocky crevice that is high above a river of flowing lava. You can earn up to 20,000 GP for completing 10 matches on both. A new weapon has also been added to the game with the PG9.

Some of the gameplay changes that have been introduced should theoretically help to improve the overall experience as well. One of these changes is that there will now be a pre-round timer on the GR Tower and Mexico maps. There is also improved in-game map positioning and view to allow full movement while the map is displayed.

There is also a new Play Event that is now available to coincide with this update. If you complete seven matches across any mode during the event period you will receive a Super V Nomad (weapon skin).

This update also addresses some of the bugs that have been in the game. This update will fix an issue related to party matchmaking where if the person who was invited left the party during the queue, the host would be stuck in the queue. There was an also issue where if the host left the group while searching for a game, the group members would be stuck in that queue and that should be addressed as well.

There is also a new feature with the shooting range. This is where you will be able to test out your weapons in a controlled environment and tweak your settings to perfect your aim before you jump into battle. Additionally, you can now earn and equip various Name Tags that show off your individual weapon achievements.

Take a look at the trailer below that highlights this new update and then tell us what you think.
