MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Arrives on Consoles and PC in 2025

News: A unique take on the FPS genre arrives next year by assuming the role of Private Investigator Jack Pepper.

Revealed during today’s Xbox Partner Preview, the explosive first-person shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire will be launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch (in addition to Steam) in 2025.

In MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, step into the paws of Private Investigator Jack Pepper on a guns-blazing adventure through the seedy criminal underbelly of Mouseburg. Utilize an assorted arsenal of weapons, power-ups, and explosives as you unravel the city’s dark secrets and embark on a quest for justice.

Key Features:

Iconic Style: The monochromatic, hand-drawn rubber hose animation and original retro jazz soundtrack are created with the same techniques of the era. The playful weaponry, whimsical health display, and cartoon chaos add a light-hearted twist to each death.

Customizable Power-Ups: Enhance melee combat with a can of Spike-D Spinach, or even attach Pepper’s mouse tail to a Grappling Hook to rapidly traverse Mouseberg’s rooftops.

Fast-paced Action: Discover and combine powerful upgrades with comical weapons to violently blow apart enemies. From crackling Tommy guns to explosive firepower, use a mix of combat styles that adjust to play style preferences to defeat enemies in epic fights and challenging boss battles.
