News: But ya gotta go to France to actually play it...
THQ has announced that Full Spectrum Warrior, its Xbox-exclusive military action title, will be playable for the first time at this year's X03 event. The show is set for Sept. 16 and 17 in Nice, France, and is part of Microsoft's annual foray into Europe. Last year's event was held in Seville, Spain, while the inaugural УXФ event took place in 2001 in Cannes, France.
"With its unique tactical-action style of gameplay, and roots as an actual U.S. Army training simulator, Full Spectrum Warrior allows players to experience the precision and emotion of modern-day military operations," said Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of THQ's worldwide studios. "We're delighted with initial press response to the game, and believe X03 is the perfect opportunity to give game industry opinion leaders their first hands-on experience with Full Spectrum Warrior."
The game is being developed by Pandemic Studios, which has also created Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
