News: I don't know why, since Microsoft makes the game itself. Some things simply have no explanation...
Metro3D has announced that it will be publishing Dinosaur Hunting, Microsoft Games Studios Japan's upcoming action title on the Xbox.
The British were known for their exploration prowess throughout places like Africa and South America in the 1800s and early 1900s -- in this game, they will even stumble across across dinosaurs in the Amazon! Apparently, a giant earthquake trapped these dinosaurs in a safe spot, where they lived carefree and undiscovered by humanity until now (well, until 1910 in the game...). But despite the name of the game, these dinosaurs will not be violently hunted for sport -- they'll be saved from extinction. Players will control teams of УhuntersФ armed with various projectile weapons to tranquilize these beasts, so that they can be transported to a safe location.
"Dinosaur Hunting is a giant-size action adventure, which brings prehistoric dinosaurs into the 21st Century," said Joseph Morici, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Metro3D. "Mixing reality with a bit of fantasy, Dinosaur Hunting is a solid action adventure title sure to be popular this upcoming holiday season."
Dinosaur Hunting is currently scheduled for a Nov. 7 release.
