News: Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix debuts on Xbox and online with toe-to-toe dance matches via Live!
Konami announced that Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix, the newest addition to its popular interactive dancing series,аshipped to stores for Xbox today. This is the first DDR title for the Microsoft system and the online debut for the franchise complete with head-to-head competition via Xbox Live.
"Dance Dance RevolutionаUltramix introduces the worldwide dancing phenomenon to a whole new audience of gamers with an exciting roster of music, new gameplay innovations and online play," said Jason Enos, Product Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment - America. "From its inception, Dance Dance Revolution has developed a large fan base and now this community can be further connected to each other using Xbox Live."
The gameаtakes the dancing series to new heights with networked gameplayаfor Xbox owners and allows competition with up to four players online along with the ability of talking live with otherаDDR fans.аIt includes more than 45 hit tracks, though more can be acquired through Downloadable Content in packs of 5 songs for $5.00. An all-newаChallenge andаbattle have also been added to keep players on their feet all night long. Up to four players can compete simultaneously offline inаbattle modeаfor the ultimate party mix or players can dance their way through various rounds to reach specific objectives in challenge mode. For fans that are looking for some exercise, theаworkout mode allows players to track calories during play. Also appearing is the popular edit mode where gamers can customize their own dance steps.
