News: The Game Boy Advance gets some retro Mega Man collection lovin' too.
Capcom has announced another compilation of games to celebrate Mega Man's 15th anniversary. This time the Game Boy Advance is getting a compilation known as Mega Man Mania that will include the five Mega Man games that were previously released for the original Game Boy, which were originally created for the Game Boy as portable versions of the NES games.
Mega Man Mania will feature both the original black and white versions of these games and new versions that have colorized for this collection. There's no word yet if they'll feature other graphical or gameplay updates, but if it's anything like the Anniversary Collections coming for the PS2 and GameCube, they'll be straight ports.
As a bonus that I'm sure fans will enjoy, the game will include a Mega Manаartwork museum. Mega Man Mania is currently set for a Spring 2004 release, we'll keep you posted.
