News: SNK plans to let Metal Slug 3 and SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos jump from arcades to your Xbox.

SNK has announced that they plan to bring two of their arcade favorites, Metal Slug 3 and SNK Vs Capcom: SVC Chaos, to the Xbox.

Metal Slug 3 was released in arcades in 2000 and is theаfourth game in the company's critically acclaimed side scrolling shooter series. SNK Vs Capcom: SVC Chaos is the latest Vs game, this time with a heavy helping of the SNK side of things, thus their top billing in the title.

"We're fortunate in that we have several titles with devoted fan bases," said Ben Herman, SNK NeoGeo USA Consumer Corporationаpresident. "Xbox users are serious about their gaming experience and our titles fit the Xbox user perfectly."

Precious few other details were released except that SNK Vs Capcom will sport Xbox Live play and that both games are scheduled to ship sometime in 2004. We'll keep you posted.
