News: Nintendo's formerly Japan only release of NES classics for the GBA is coming stateside. And with a special edition GBA SP too.

Earlier this year we reported that Nintendo was planning to release a line of classic NES games for the Game Boy Advance. At that time it was going to be one of those Japan Only bonuses that most North American gamers miss out. But not anymore.

Last night, IGN reported that the Big N is bringing the Classic NES Series to America on June 7. The first waveаwill include Bomberman, Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Ice Climber, Pac-Man, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. andаXevious. Each game will come in a reproduction of it's original packaging, scaled down to GBA size and will retail for $19.99. Nintendo has said that each game will faithfullyаmimic the original,аprobablyаthrough emulation.

But that's not all, a special edition GBA SP will also ship on June 7 with a faceplate design that looks exactly like an original NES controller. If you just can't wait, IGNаhas exclusive pictures of all of it.

We at Gaming Target willаkeep you posted on all of the classic developments.
