News: The revolution will be televised... complete with 35 new songs.
For the American Idol in all of us comes the good news that Konami has announced they are developing a sequel to their popular game Karaoke Revolution. Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 will feature a similarаstyle and game modes to the first game. Making a return in more or less unchanged states are the Training, Arcade and Karaoke Modes.
But Volume 2 is also looking to add as the game will feature 35 new songs including "Every Breath You Take" (The Police),а"Friends in Low Places" (Garth Brooks) and "I Will Survive" (Gloria Gaynor). There will also be seven new characters, three new venues, an enhanced Showtime mode and over 30 new outfits.
"Real-time feedback is offered by the dynamic crowds that fill each virtual venue, either by booing you off the stage or cheering your every note."
The second Karaoke Revolutionаhas a new mode planned known as the Medley Mode. The Medley Mode connects up to five songs together as players try to see who can handle the sudden shifts in musical medley the best.
Music game masters Harmonix are once again at the helm of Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 and the game is currently scheduled for a July release. We'll have more as it's revealed, especially with E3 upcoming.
