News: Ever wanted to kill a Care Bear? Then Majesco has the game for you.

Yesterday Majesco announced a war on cuteness as it announced the development of Raze's Hell for the Xbox.

Raze's Hell takes place on a dirty, forbidden planet that we would think of as Hell. And that's just the way main character Raze likes it. Until the day the Kewletts invade and make everything sunshine and rainbows and lollipops in a Care Bears, Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake kind of way. Raze can't stomach the cuteness, so he takes up his gun and sets out to take down the Kewletts and their capital, Kewtopia.

If you need something to plug in before Conker comes out, Raze's Hell will also support full Xbox Live play for all your teddy bear killing impulses.

Features
  • 20 massive mission-based levels set in surreal alien landscapes;
  • Full Xbox Live support through a variety of gameplay modes;
  • Split-screen cooperative action;
  • Intense large-scale battles, intelligent AI that takes cover, sounds alarms and fights back;
  • Over 10 devastating organic weapons that mirror traditional military weapons plus rolling, stealth and melee attacks;
  • Over 20 fiendishly cute enemy types armed with deadly jack-in-the-boxes, lollipop axes and even bunny rocket launchers;
  • Riotously grisly deaths and devilishly fun mini-games;
  • Dolby Digital 5.1 sound support.

    Raze's Hell is being developed by Artech Studios and is currently scheduled for a Spring 2005 release. We'll keep you posted.
