News: Sony's not talking, but here's what we think we know.
We don't know how much it'll cost. We know that we won't be able to touch it until "sometime in March." Several launch titles don't even have finalized names. Sony is going out of their way to make the PSP a huge question mark and just like before the PS2 was released, it's only fueling the hype.
But here's what we do know. After wading through press materials and many release lists (which are known to be inaccurate), these are the games that we think should be available at launch:
Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower
Dynasty Warriors
FIFA Soccer
Mercury
Metal Gear Acid
MVP Baseball
NBA Street: Showdown
Need For Speed Underground: Rivals
NFL Street 2: Unleashed
Spider-Man 2
Tiger Woods PGA Tour
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix
Twisted Metal: Head-On
Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade
We also know that the following titles should be available "sometime in the Spring":
Frogger
Grand Theft Auto PSP
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition
Ridge Racers
