News: More Dragon Ball than you can shake... something at.

Atari announced in their quarterly report yesterday that their Beverly, Massachusetts, and Santa Monica, California studios would close because of the tightening game economy.

Atari also announced the following release list for between now and March 31:

Backyard Baseball 2006 (GBA)
Dragon Ball Z: Sagas (PS2, Xbox and GameCube)
Retro Atari Classics (DS).

And these titles would have a TBA 2005 release date:

Pirates! (Xbox)
Dragon Ball GT: Transformation (GBA)
Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure (PS2, the Xbox version looks to be all but officially canned)
Timeshift (Xbox)

We'll have more on Atari's future as we learn it.
