Specials: BAM! was keeping it simple at this year's E3. So take the booth tour to see exactly what they had to offer this year.

Maybe the old adage is true. You know, "Less is more?" Unlike the "heavy-hitters" at this year's E3, BAM! instead was focusing all of their efforts on just a couple of titles. Literally.

Bujingai (PS2)
Hong Kong style martial arts meets anime-styled combo based swordplay. I think that this is the best way to describe Bujingai. Calling upon the creators of "Trigun" and "Cowboy Bebop" to craft it's visual flare, Bujingai is extremely accessible, allowing even the most casual of gamers to pull off impressive combos. After spending just a few minutes at the controls of Bujingai revealed an extremely fun jaunt through post-apocalyptic Asia. Of course, the game is simply gorgeous, too. Motion captured animations are perfectly complimented with a certain panache that screams for your attention. You just can't help but get pulled into Bujingai and I can't wait to play the whole game.

State of Emergency 2 (PS2, Xbox)
BAM! is bringing us the sequel to 2001's anti-social, riot-inducing State of Emergency. Vis Entertainment is again handling the development duties and is taking the criticisms of the first game to heart. Skewing more towards a darker and deeper experience, State of Emergency 2 is already featuring a much more advanced AI than the original and will offer a more rewarding experience for those that want to unleash a little bit of mayhem. This time around, levels will be made up of up to 500 characters, feature bigger and better weapons, five unique characters and you will be the spark that ignites the riots.

A couple other points worth mentioning...
BAM! is also bringing Starsky & Hutch titles to the GameCube and Game Boy Advance. The GameCube version will sport the same driving and shooting action that was seen in last year's PS2 and Xbox releases...Stolen Drums? This sounds like a job for Carmen Sandiego. BAM! recently released Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums for the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox. Is this the return of mind exercising console titles? We can only hope.
