News: Horror master leads his voice and his face to the Romero zombie game.
Hip Games have announced that they've signed horror master Tom Savini to appear in and lend his voice to City of the Dead.
Savini will play William "Red" McLean, a former policeman who will start the game supplying sniper cover for another character before players can take control of him in later levels. These levels take place on the isolated Isla Mortal, the home of an abandoned military overrun by the living dead.
"We are incredibly pleased that Mr. Savini has agreed to lend his talent to our upcoming release, 'City of the Dead'," said Arindra Singh, President & Chief Executive Officer of Hip Interactive Corp. "His legendary make-up artistry and theatrical roles have securely embedded him in the Romero Universe. We are honored to have him on board!"
City of the Dead will also feature several multiplayer modes including co-op missions, party mode, and four-player online play.
City of the Dead will be shown at E3 behind closed doors, hopefully our boy Chris will chew on the right brains to get in.
