News: The little violent guys are coming to the new crop of handhelds.

THQ and Team17 Software are teaming up to bring Worms to the DS and PSP.

Details are scarce, as they've been for the last several new game announcements. Come on people, we gamers want details!

Martyn Brown, the Studio Director of Team 17 had this to say. "We are developing incredibly addictive new versions of our classic game for existing fans of the series and newcomers to the world of Worms. It's time to dust off the Holy Hand Grenade and unleash some more exploding sheep!"

We'll have more as it crawls through the grass after the rain.
