News: Good news and bad news coming out of the house of Nintendo.
Nintendo has dropped two big bits of news this morning and some of it will leave fans happy while the rest of it will leave fans angry.
First, the bad news. Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been pushed back to a TBA 2006 release date. The official word is that they plan to add "some incredible new elements" to the game.
On the other side of the news aisle though, Nintendo has announced that the DS will drop in price to $129.99 effective August 21. This price drop is meant to coincide with the release of the huge Japanese hit Nintendogs on the 22nd. Advance Wars: Dual Strike also ships that day.
It looks like Nintendo may be using the Zelda delay to really push the DS this Christmas as they are gearing up to publish plenty of huge titles including Trace Memory in September, Metroid Prime Pinball in October and Mario & Luigi 2, Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing DS late in the year.
