News: Nintendo finally caves and adds Wi-Fi play to Metroid Prime: Hunters.
It looks like all the delays may be worth it after all. With three delays under it's belt, we may finally know the reason: Nintendo has announced that Metroid Prime: Hunters will feature Wi-Fi play.
Until this most recent delay (to early 2006), Nintendo adamently stated that Metroid Prime Hunters would have no Wi-Fi multiplayer. But with this latest delay, the game has been pushed beyond the launch of Wi-Fi in November so I guess it became a natural fit.
Nintendo has also announced that they are being neighborly as a new single player demo of Hunters will be on hand at the Penny Arcade Expo in Bellevue, Washington this weekend. This demo will give players a look at the three other bounty hunters Samus will be taking on:
Sylux - a ruthless sharpshooter who harbors an intense hatred for Metroid heroine Samus Aran
Trace - a young outcast who seeks power and a planet to invade
Weavel - a cyborg Space Pirate assassin
I'm sure there'll be more on Metroid Prime Hunters soon.
