News: Final Fantasy IV, the game previously known as Final Fantasy II.
Final Fantasy II (IV in official Japanese chronology) was a fan favorite on the SNES. It ushered in the beginning of the SNES RPG wave.
So it was a great surprise today when Square and Nintendo announced that Fianl Fantasy IV is coming to the GBA on December 12.
The game will be the same great adventure that RPG fans have been playing for ages, but Nintendo did say "Additional game elements also have been added to enhance the Game Boy Advance version".
They didn't feel like elaborating further.
