News: More from the TGS show.
The hits (that we'll never see) keep on coming.
My personal favorite out of the games revealed so far is Capcom's Extreme Ghouls 'n Ghosts. It is a completely new GnG game (the first in over 10 years) and looks to take advantage of all of the PSP's power. The best part: it's completely side scrolling.
For something a little more popular with the masses, we can always turn to Polyphany Digital. The makers of the Gran Turismo series are back with a motorcycle simulator for the PS2 known as Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator. It will no doubt be as realistic as Gran Turismo is.
On the other hand, if you're a fan of the work of From Software, you'll be happy to know they're giving a big push to the Xbox 360. A new Tenchu game and Armored Core 4 (which is also coming to the PS3) will make fans of ninjas and mechs very happy.
And if ninjas are really your thing, maybe you'll want to look into the newest title from the Prince of Persia team at Ubisoft, Assassins. Of course, we're not sure if there will be any ninjas in the game, but ninjas are assassins. It's all about the connections.
Finally, rounding out this batch of announcements is Suikoden 1 & 2. I guess Konami didn't want to be outdone by Namco's announcement of Xenosaga 1 & 2, so Suikoden 1 & 2 will be coming to the PSP in a single UMD collection.
Once again, it's hard to gauge whether any of these titles will make it to American shores, but I'd put good money on Armored Core 4 and Extreme Ghouls 'n Ghosts.
