News: Ubisoft has big plans for the little handheld that could in Europe.

Ubisoft has recently announced their PSP slate for Europe and I have a hunch it will make RPG fans very happy.

By the end of 2005 Ubisoft plans to release Tales of Eternia in Europe. Until now Tales was a Japan only release but Ubisoft is seeing fit to change that. And with this new announcement comes the obvious logical leap that Tales will sport a nifty English translation. Which will make it all the more easy for someone to pick it up for an American release. Someone. Anyone.

Also of note is Ubi's plan to release 187 Ride or Die PSP and Prince of Persia PSP in early 2006. No other details were revealed but it's assumed that we in America will see similar release dates for these two titles.

"The PSP is a fantastic new system for gamers on the move," said Alain Corre, executive director of EMEA territories at Ubisoft. "Ubisoft is thrilled that it can contribute to the continued success of the PSP by ensuring a wide variety of games and exclusive content. This is only the beginning of our support, with many more titles in the works for the year to come."

We'll have more as it develops.
