News: Nintendo unveils a ton of new DS software that will be hitting Japan in the next year.

Famitsu is always good for huge Japanese video game news. And they don't disappoint yet again. Yesterday, while X05 was the main focus of the game world, Nintendo quietly held a press conference revealing a ton of new DS games.

A poorly translated version of the Famitsu report can be found here and it cuts to the chase with screens of some great looking games:

  • Tingle RPG
  • More Brain Training
  • New Custom Robo
  • Mario Basketball 3 on 3
  • New Wario Land
  • The Sims 2
  • Dynasty Warriors
  • Children of Mana

A few titles also translate well with SNK vs Capcom DS, Bleach, Legend of Arcadia and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl all being readable. And if anybody out there has any passing knowledge of Japanese and can help with the rest I'd be grateful.

We're not sure which, if any, of these titles will be coming to America.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has also announced the USB Wireless Adapter that was rumored a few months back. Check out a picture here. If you have a Broadband connection, this thing will hook into your computer and connect you to the Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection service. Nintendo's goal seems to be making simple wireless broadband a priority.

So what does all this information mean to us in America? Not much. But one thing's for sure, the DS has a very bright future indeed.
