News: As if Franchise mode wasn't deep enough.
For all you fanatics of the Madden Franchise mode, today is your Christmas. EA has announced that the team at EA Tiburon is hard at work on NFL Head Coach for the PS2, Xbox and PC. It's currently scheduled for release in that hotbed of football activity, Spring 2006.
"NFL Head Coach, the third pillar in our NFL portfolio, was developed to satiate all those Monday morning quarterbacks and fantasy football fanatics," said Dale Jackson, Executive Producer, EA Tiburon. "NFL Head Coach is an entirely new football experience that every level of football gamer can play. It provides the strategy that the hardcore fan will demand, but with very easy-to-use controls and assistance for more casual fans. Football will no longer be intimidating for the casual user."
Head Coach puts players behind the coaching desk in ways they never dreamed of before. Coaches will be required to "develop a team strategy, execute it on and off the field, and try to build a winning organization year after year."
While this might sound like motivational teamspeak to most, Head Coach will put junior Jimmy Johnsons on the sidelines of the practice field and game day after they've built up a spectacular team in the front office.
We'll have more on NL Head Coach soon.
