News: Capcom brings the popular-to-port Street Fighter Alpha 3 to the PSP.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 has appeared on a bunch of different platforms over the years. PSone, Game Boy Advance and Dreamcast, it's seen a lot of life since its arcade days.
Now Capcom has announced they are bringing the fight to North American PSPs this February in the form of Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max.
Max includes all of the original fighters from SFA3 and features an expanded roster with Yun, Maki and Eagle from Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution.
A ton of fighting modes make SFA3M a whole new game including:
Arcade Mode pits the player in a series of matches against CPU controlled opponents.
Survival Mode: Battle against a series of enemies until getting KO'd.
Dramatic Battle Mode lets players team up with a CPU controlled character to fight an enemy.
And fight the final boss in Final Battle Mode.
Five Ad-Hoc network modes will also be available in Max:
Go mano-a-mano with any playable character in Versus Mode.
Select a team of three characters and engage in a series of team battles with Team Battle Mode.
Versus Dramatic Battle Mode: Mix and match the combinations of brawlers as gamers can stack the deck against an opponent with 2 characters-on-1 character matches.
Verses Variable Battle Mode: Participate in infinite tag team competitions.
League Battle Mode: Allows a maximum of eight players to duke it out in round-robin mini tournaments.
