News: Another World War II FPS... with a twist!
First Person Shooters set during World War II seem to be a dime a dozen these days. So it takes something really special to make any one game stand out from the pack. Unless the words "Call of Duty" or "Medal of Honor" grace the cover of your game. So what's a developer to do? Four words: Streoid injected zombie soldiers.
Yes, in UberSoldier players will strap on the boots of a soldier brought back from the dead and pumped full of enough chemicals to make him some kind of super soldier.
In addition to regular WWII weaponry, the UberSoldier will have supernatural powers. Booga booga boo!
"UberSoldier's high quality graphics, dynamic physics engine and realistic rag-doll effects will offer players an affordably-priced yet high-quality game experience," said CDV spokesperson, Mario Kroll.
UberSoldier is being developed by Burut Creative Team and will be published by CDV. It is currently scheduled to ship for the PC in March 2006.
