News: Capcom reveals some details about their big Xbox 360 offering.

A few days ago at a press conference in Japan, Capcom revealed Lost Planet for the Xbox 360 to the world.

No American release has been announced yet, but we've got a hold of an English press release and this game sounds like one any gamer would enjoy.

Lost Planet puts players on an icy world of humans, dangerous native creatures and invading aliens as each side battles it out for supremecy. The giant worlds will be streamed straight off the disc with no loading times and the game features both a lengthy single-player campaign and multiplayer modes (including co-op).

Lost Planet is currently on track for an appropriate winter 2006 release in Japan.

Other Features:
Xbox Live enabled Ц Experience an array of gameplay possibilities with online cooperative battles.

Vehicle based gameplay Ц Jump in and out of a variety of heavily armed vehicles not only to help players traverse the treacherous terrain, but eliminate the terrifying enemies that threaten their survival.

Vast arctic environments - Snowstorms, arctic winds, towering mountains of ice are all stunningly realized, creating a truly immersive and cinematic event of epic proportions.

A premier team of developers Ц The creators of the Onimusha and Devil May Cry series have come together to create the expansive world of Lost Planet.

We'll have more on Lost Planet soon.
