News: Armored Core: Last Raven will land on your PS2 next Spring.
With From Software hard at work on Armored Core 4 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, Agetec has announced they are also working on the final AC game for the PS2 in the form of Armored Core: Last Raven. AC: Last Raven is currently on track for a Spring 2006 release and picks up right after Armored Core: Nexus ends:
Two powerful groups, the Alliance and the Vertex, are fighting for world dominance and victory hinges upon the "Raven" pilots. You are a Raven, an elite mech warrior who must choose sides between the fighting powers. Ravens face the ultimate decision in the fight for survival, either to fiercely defend their chosen side or fight alone and face the wrath of all Ravens.
Like always, Last Raven will feature the customization features that the AC series is known for. For this latest go-round, From Software has even said that your mech will be able to continue fighting "after losing an arm, leg or head". Awesome.
