News: The popular Korean RPG is coming to America.
Korean RPGs appear to be the next great frontier for game publishers as all of them appear to be looknig for a new breakout series. So it's not really surprising to hear that Ubisoft picked up the worldwide publishing rights to Sonnori Company's Astonishia Story.
Astonishia Story puts players into the boots of a royal knight that is looking for "a stolen sacred relic that symbolizes prosperity and fortune." He will meet many new friends on his journey including "wizards and other mysterious allies."
"Astonishia Story is one of the acclaimed games for the PC and PSP system in Korea and we are excited to add this quality RPG game to our PSP system lineup," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "Astonisha Story brings a rich and simple experience that will satisfy the PSP system owner's desire for a RPG game."
Astonishia Story is scheduled to ship in March.
