News: Because you can never have enough Total War.

Today, Sega and The Creative Assembly announced the next game in the Total War franchise, Medieval 2: Total War. Medieval 2 retruns the series to the Europe gamers know and love, but this time the strategic battles will take place in Europe and the Holy Lands "before discovering the Americas and doing battle with the fearsome Aztecs."
Medieval 2 adds more to the series at nearly every turn. Sega has said the game will be able to have "10,000 dynamic characters" in battle at one time. The game will also sport "over 200 new units, greater depth in siege warfare, new weaponry and a highly detailed building damage model".
"Medieval 2: Total War is the result of 7 years continuous development of the Total War series and has been designed to appeal to all gamers, not just hardcore strategy fans. " commented Mike Simpson, Studio Director at Creative Assembly. "Each game in the series has outshone the previous one and Medieval 2: Total War is no exception."
Multiplayer combat will also be included for those that want to wage war on their friends and wellwishers.
We've also got the first three screens.
We'll have more on Medieval 2: Total War soon.
