News: But Ubisoft had a very good year.
Ubisoft has released their financials for the end of their third quarter today. Suffice it to say, they had a very good year.
Sales totaled 250 million Euros, which is a third quarter (October - December) record for Ubisoft.
Yet, this good news also comes with some bad news. Ubisoft has adjusted their outlook for the year and don't think they'll make as much money as they thought they would. They had originally pegged the yearly sales estimate at 600 million Euros, but now think it will be closer to 530 million.
But the real bad news is that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent has been pushed back to September. The game will ship simultaneously across the PS2, GameCube, PC, Xbox and Xbox 360.
So while it's sad, there's no doubt Ubisoft will be making Splinter Cell games for many years to come.
