News: Xbox owners rejoice and PS2 players rerejoice as the GTA series comes to their console of choice.
Rockstar Games has announced today that a Grand Theft Auto Double Pack containing both GTA3 and Vice City will ship for the PS2 and Xbox this fall. The PS2 version will ship on October 22 with the Xbox edition arriving two weeks later on November 4. As far as we know the double pack will be straight ports. Rockstar has made no mention of any Xbox exclusive features or enhancements.
There was also no mention of a GameCube version of this double pack, which was always mentioned in the original rumors, but the press release did not have any reference to it. Grand Theft Auto 4 is still on track as a PlayStation 2 exclusive, at least for the forseeable future.
